Gingerbread whipped cream is a delicious homemade whipped cream made with the festive spices of traditional gingerbread. It is made with fresh whipping cream and spices to create an extra fun addition to your holiday cheer. It truly is so simple and easy but can make such a difference in anything you add it to!  

Ingredients

  • heavy/whipping cream
  • powdered sugar
  • vanilla extract 
  • ginger powder
  • cinnamon 
  • allspice 
  • cloves 
  • nutmeg 

How to make gingerbread whipped cream

This homemade whipped cream recipe comes together so quickly so let’s get into it! First, measure out all of your ingredients and add them to the bowl of a stand mixer. You can also use a regular bowl with a hand mixer but I personally prefer the stand mixer. Add the heavy cream, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, ginger, cinnamon, allspice, cloves, and nutmeg. Using the whisk attachment, whip the cream until stiff peaks form. You’ll know they’re stiff peaks when they can stand up on their own and the cream is sturdy. That’s really all there is to it! Now you can enjoy this delicious and festive whipped cream on top of your favourite hot drinks, pies, fruit, or anything else you can think of! 

How to store 

To store your homemade holiday whipped cream, all you need to do is keep it in an airtight container and store it in the refrigerator. You can keep it like this for around a week and enjoy it whenever you’d like!

  • 1 cup whipping cream
